It has been a long time that I have not met my auntie because my work assignment abroad. Last week, I went to a family gathering and finally met most of my aunties and uncles. My oldest auntie who has good income from her business started to approach me and asked how am I. After that, she was asking directly if Rolex watches is cheaper in the country where I work. Well, I can understand that most luxury items are expensive in Jakarta because of taxes. But why she wants a specific brand like Rolex? She was telling me that in her business, luxury items are somehow important to show her capability to afford those expensive items. She has many estate jewelry but she said that some people only look for the brand.
Ok. I understand now. It will be my task to check in the country I work for stores who sell watches to know whether rolex watches are cheaper than Jakarta’s prices. She had mentioned the specific model that I need to compare. I hope I can help her with this Rolex watch model.
